I’m Ryan Fowler, and SOS stands for the Subconscious Optimization System. It’s a method for rapidly and permanently discovering, connecting to, and removing subconscious core beliefs, or other limiting beliefs, that cause us to struggle. We then permanently replace the old beliefs with new, optimal ones. It’s well established that 95% of our behavior is directed by our subconscious; to see for yourself, google “what percent of our behavior is directed by our subconscious?” When you optimize your subconscious mind, it changes many aspects of life, often profoundly. It improves one’s personal life and professional performance. It’s especially useful for those where psychologically effective interactions with others is paramount, such as with sales professionals, team leaders, entrepreneurs, and executives.

RyanFowlerSOS is far better than conventional techniques that only help one manage internal struggles. It instead re-wires your brain to remove the root issue. A partial list of the most common things RyanFowlerSOS helps with are:
- Procrastination.
- Lack of motivation.
- Fear of failure.
- Fear of rejection.
- Fear of approaching, flirting with, or having romantic interactions with sexually attractive people.
- Social or other dysfunctional anxieties.
- ·Self-sabotage.
- Imposter syndrome, i.e. an inability to act authentically, wearing a mask, feeling the real you is unacceptable, or feeling like a fraud.
- Low self-esteem.
- Lack of confidence in one’s ability or inherent value.
- Trapped anger or resentment towards oneself or others.

In addition to optimizing subconscious belief systems, we also use cognitive techniques, dopamine optimization, and neuroscience for daily motivation and mindset. The fundamentals of the SOS program draw from the psychology, psychiatry, and neuroscience discoveries of pioneers such as Dr. Aaron T. Beck (core identity beliefs and cognitive behavioral therapy), the subconscious mechanics and shadow work promulgated by Dr. Carl Jung, the neuroplasticity findings of Dr. Michael Merzenich, the meta-data analysis and podcasts of Dr. Andrew Huberman, and the writings of James Clear, especially his book Atomic Habits. The SOS is also influenced by the techniques of practitioners such as Gil Boyne, Marissa Peer and Melanie Tonia Evans. You can learn more about the science behind the SOS by reading the answer to the next question.

Absolutely. Most of the SOS is already established as effective by both scientific research and counseling practitioners, however it’s how we combine the wide variety of techniques together, with a little of our own “secret sauce” that adds up to a whole that is greater than the sum of its parts. Perhaps the least-used techniques that accelerate and amplify the SOS program’s power are the neuroplasticity techniques described by Dr. Andrew Huberman (based on the research of Dr. Michael Merzenich) in one of his very first podcasts “How to Use Focus to Change Your Brain”, which can be viewed at:

Ryan Fowler breaks down the essentials of this research, as used in the SOS program in his videos on superneuroplasticity, highlights of which you can watch here:

The SOS program draws from a wide variety of disciplines, including hypnosis. Hypnotic techniques are about 1/3 of what we use, but saying you use hypnosis is like saying you paint with oils. Being a stage hypnotist, for example, is like using oils to paint crazy, chaotic pictures. Our “pictures” are very, very different than that. Hypnosis is merely a meditative state, wherein your focus is directed inward, your emotions, imagination and sometimes memory is enhanced, and your cognitive brain is quieted down, but you remain conscious. The result is a more neuroplastic (changeable) state of mind. Our methods work without hypnosis, but the effect is amplified with hypnosis.
-
Absolutely! We have used this technique for over 600 clients, and over 30 client video interviews are on Ryan Fowler’s YouTube channel at:

In our experience, they work at least moderately well for 92-95% of our clients. Of the 92-95% they work well for, 40% will find the process life-changing, 40% will find the process very helpful, and 12-15% will see a more subtle but permanent effect that makes the benefit well worth any financial investment they’ve made. We can often spot a client who will be in the 5-8% that don’t respond well beforehand. Clients who don’t respond well to the method are those with unusually rigid mindsets, black or white thinking, or who severely suppress or have difficulty feeling their emotions. Note that many of our clients who suppress their emotions mildly or moderately, or who have somewhat but not severely rigid beliefs usually still benefit from the SOS.

No. I am a mindset and subconscious reprogramming coach who teaches people to, at a core level, unconditionally love themselves, believe in their ability and value, and let go of anything that doesn’t serve them. I do not practice psychiatry, psychology, counseling, or engage in any other form of regulated profession. I do not profess to be a medical provider in any way. I do not diagnose, treat, mitigate, cure or prevent any disease, disorder or malady, whether physical, mental or emotional. At all times, I suggest that my clients coordinate with their regular health care provider for any physical, mental or emotional issues.

If you are very skilled in using these methods, you can re-wire your own brain, all by yourself or with the help of our audios. Most people don’t have the time or energy to become an expert using the Subconscious Optimization System, however. A “do it yourself” only program, even if you’re not an expert is still helpful for many, but for best results, we recommend at least 1 full session with one of our expert coaches. An expert can analyze your situation, more easily connect you to the subconscious beliefs that need replacing, customize an approach that meets your specific needs, and then guide you through the process, so you see firsthand “how it’s done” at a high level. Many clients afterwards use our audio recordings to remove several other limiting or bad subconscious programs, all on their own. Others have another 1-on-1 session, or a few more, but most never need more than 3-5 sessions to fix all major and most moderate subconscious issues. The majority of our clients only need 1 or 2 sessions.
